Abstract

The purpose of the research - The main purpose of the study is to form the activities of small and medium-sized businesses in the country, the current state and development of statistical research.The methodology of the research - The study used observational methods, analyzes and a comparative method.The practical importance of the research - The results obtained are used to solve theoretical and practical problems related to the regulation of the strategic development of small and medium-sized businesses.
The results of the research - It consists in preparing recommendations and proposals for optimizing the regulation of small and medium-sized businesses, taking into account the level of modern development of the country and global challenges.The scientific novelty of research - In the article we analyzed, a place is given to information about the significance of the development of small and medium-sized businesses in Azerbaijan and the factors of its development. In recent years, state support has been shown in this area, and rather positive results in the development of entrepreneurship have been indicated.
