Abstract

Academic and administrative staff working in higher education institutions have opinions on the quality criteria of personnel training in accordance with the requirements of the labor market of a higher education institution, and these opinions were determined in different categories through a survey and a perception analysis was conducted. However, as in international practice, there is a state body responsible for the external quality assurance of all higher education institutions operating in the Republic of Azerbaijan, regardless of their subordination, ownership and organizational and legal form, and the assessment criteria of this body are criteria covering various directions approved in the appropriate manner. The perception analysis conducted based on the results of surveys conducted among academic and administrative staff working in higher education institutions shows that the opinions expressed on the quality criteria of a higher education institution and the assessment criteria for institutional accreditation determined in the country are largely similar.
