DIRECTIONS OF TOURISM DEVELOPMENT IN KARABAKH AND EAST ZANGAZUR TERRITORIES

Abstract

The Republic of Azerbaijan is considered one of the socio-economically developed countries. One of the most important aspects of the development of our republic is the appropriate geographical location. An example of the development of tourism in that country is one of the main advantages of the appropriate geographical position. Currently, there are 14 economic districts in our republic. All our economic regions are developed in terms of tourism. One of the main factors for the development of tourism is the economic 
support measures provided by the state. At present, economic support measures are taken by the state in relation to tourism in the territories freed from occupation. In general, these areas are very important for tourism both historically and recreationally. In addition, all our economic regions are considered destination areas
