Abstract

The “One Belt, One Road" Initiative (BRI), put forward in 2013, is being implemented dynamically. If the projects implemented under this initiative have so far mainly covered the countries neighboring China, then after the liberation of their lands by Azerbaijan and, consequently, the opening of the Middle Corridor, the projects intended for our country become relevant. In this regard, of particular interest is the current state of the BRI, understanding the specifics of the projects implemented within its framework and studying the expected effects.The article presents an overview of the research conducted in this area. Realized investments and 
made forecasts are analyzed from an economic point of view.
