Abstract

Modern trends in strengthening the country's food security require a special approach to determining the export potential of the agricultural sector in the context of the globalization of the world economy. Currently, the agricultural sector can not only produce agricultural products in quantities that will correspond to the level of consumption in the country, but also export them to foreign markets. From this point of view, the export potential of the agricultural sector is a multifactor model that covers specific factors 
of agriculture, factors of organizing foreign economic activity, organizing the export mechanism and means of its implementation.
The purpose of the research - the purpose of the research is to investigate the mechanism of the formation of export potential in the agricultural sector and to prepare proposals on the prospects of increasing the export potential by determining the factors affecting it.Research method - grouping and analysis methods were used in the research process.Results of the research -the obtained results allow to determine the prospects for increasing the export potential.
