ROLE OF REGIONS IN AGRICULTURE OF AZERBAIJAN

Abstract

Due to the concept and implementation of the principles of sustainable development, there are radical changes in the position and role of the agricultural sector within the development of the national economy. The view of agriculture as an integral part of the regions begins to assert itself in connection with the adoption of basic principles. Determining the indicators that characterize the 
regions and eliminating the problems identified based on them, it is possible to determine the prosperity of individual regions based on them. On the basis of statistical data of recent years, the cultivated areas, total harvest and productivity of plants in the region were recorded, and the method of comparative analysis was used.
